About the Presenter
Lois Moss-Barnwell, MS, RD, LDN, CDE, is a former Director at the American Association of Diabetes Educators (AADE) where she launched the nationwide Diabetes Education and Accreditation Program (DEAP). She also established the nutrition and diabetes education component of AONís corporate medical clinic. She is called upon frequently to review and update sections of AADE publications, including the Art & Science of DSME and the Diabetes Curriculum.
Lois is a foundation Executive Board member of a local public health clinic where she helped establish the diabetes and obesity program initiative. She has a diverse healthcare background working in a variety of settings including outpatient clinics, community/public health, and home care as well as private practice. She has had numerous experiences in corporate environments as a Nutrition/Diabetes Subject Matter Expert, Recipe Reviewer, Health/Wellness Coach, Performance Nutritionist, Facilitator and Webinar presenter.
