Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss food exposure: what constitutes exposure to an unfamiliar food, how many meaningful exposures are necessary before food is deemed familiar.
2. Facilitate nutrition interventions by using a holistic and gentle approach, include positive feeding dynamic, child developmental considerations, and alternative/creative work with food.
3. Strategize unconventional approaches highlighting the various attributes of food: senses as well as education regarding culture, location, food vocabulary, and creative outlets such as food art, photography, dance, music, and more.
4. Utilize creativity in supporting evidence-based research regarding family feeding dynamic that professionals and parents gain confidence in raising healthy children.
